Do I Need Medication Or Therapy?

Mental and emotional problems cannot solely be solved by medication. Therapy helps you achieve sustainable growth and give you a greater sense of well-being, while medication may just help you treat the symptoms. Therapy also addresses the root cause of the distress that is occurring in your life. In many cases, a combination of both medication and therapy is the right choice for many patients.

What is Therapy Like?

Therapy is based on the needs of the individual. Sessions primarily consist of a discussion about current events in your life, your personal history related to the issue that you would like to address, your report on progress and milestones, as well as long-term and short-term goal setting.

The best results are achieved when you actively engage in the process and apply what you learn through therapy to your everyday life.

Why Do I Need Therapy And Is It Right For Me?

People seek psychotherapy for various reasons. Every person is unique and has unique needs.  Therapy helps individuals address those needs while providing the tools to overcome obstacles, resolve issues, learn about themselves, set and achieve goals, and realize dreams.
